Hey Everyone!

So Liz and I are applying for the Provost Grant so that we can continue working with IDEPSCA over the summer as well as get them some extra funding. Here is a draft of our proposal – any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

P.S. for Sasha – There was one question that was constantly irking me as I was drafting: is there typically a works cited for grant applications? Never applied for one before, so I wouldn’t know. 🙂

P.P.S. – The proposal is supposed to be only one page, so I apologize if it seems kinda rushed.

The proposal looks great – if I were the Provost I’d definitely give it to you 😉

re: works cited, it really depends on the grant. In the context of a one pager, I would say use footnotes if possible. If not (because of a web submission form that is text-only) then you could create a refs section at the end or (if you only have one or two cites) just put them in the text body eg (see Modarres and Pitkin, 2008 at http://bit.ly/somethingshort).

Very excited by this, nice work! re: the mapping w/phones note that you send posts via SMS and MMS (not just SMS). We can actually test it out (vozmob/healthycity maps) in class during our mobile session.
